How to write letters in Animal Crossing: Wild World, City Folk and Let's Go To the City!

Juju here, and this time I'm going to talk about writing letters to neighbors in Animal Crossing. I love getting presents from all my neighbors and I found a nifty way to get my neighbors to send me certain kinds of gifts.

These letters work the very same for both Wild World and the Wii versions of Animal Crossing!

Luckily, the animals aren't really picky about what you say. What is important is that you spell the words right and enclose a gift. They don't care what kind of gift you send, so I send them a lot of seashells and pitfall seeds.

The first kind of letter explained here is the type that you can write if you want to get back fruit or clothing. You really don't have a choice as to what you'll get, but you will get either fruit or clothing if you send a really short letter like this. This is what I use when I'm having a hard time finding clothes I like in the Able Sisters shop or when I need foreign fruit for my town. Some of my friends just write letters that say "friend friend friend" for the same results. Just remember, it's how many letters are used, not the amount of lines, AND make sure to use proper spelling. It doesn't matter if you use correct capitalization and punctuation or not. Your neighbors won't care.

Tom Nook hardly ever has furniture in his store that I like and I hate spending money that could be used better somewhere else on furniture I don't need just to fill my catalog, so I send this kind of letter to my neighbors when I want to get furniture. Seriously, this length of letter with a present attached will get a gift of furniture in return, every time! Sometimes I keep the furniture I get as gifts and sometimes I send it to my neighbors as gifts to help fix up their houses and sometimes I share it with my wi-fi friends. Anything that's left over gets sold to Tom Nook.

The last kind of letter is a little bit longer and will end up with you getting either floor or wall coverings of furniture. I like sending these when I need to flesh out my wall and floor coverings catalog a bit.

That's it for now! Just remember, always send your neighbors a gift in their letter and don't forget spelling counts, and the length of the letter is what counts for the types of gifts you'll get back!

Signed, Your Friend Juju!
